What an inspiring movie. After watching it, I wish I could join Indian Air Force and serve my country. Every actor, specially Janhvi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi, is terrific. Good dialogues and realistic locations complements this real life story beautifully. Just saw it alone, and I'm planning to show it to my family in the evening. I think, just for the inspiring moments of this film, every Indian should watch it.

It is the best Hindi movie which was directly released on Netflix. Terrific acting by every actor, especially Tripti Dimri. I hope to see her more in films. A hard hitting social issue highlighted with the help of a folklore set in the 19th century Bengal. The narrative is realistic and mature. It belongs to a revenge drama genre, rather than horror. The writing of the film is remarkably done. Each and every character have their own shades to show and own ideology to follow. The performances were gold be it Rahul Bose in dual character, or Paoli Dam as a catalyst in every situation. But the show-stealer was Tripti Dimri. I personally loved it and will highly highly recommend it. Its a must must watch.

Just saw Thappad and after Pink, this movie tells about the gender dynamics subtly being played in our daily life. We tend to ignore the sacrifice of a woman in our daily lives. Taapsee Pannu plays a good wife taking care of her mother-in-law and husband in a normal family. She also receives love of the family and everything is fine until JUST ONE SLAP which changes everything. The things explored after this slap really takes out the mindset which is inherent in our society. I could relate so many things with my life. Taapsee Pannu is terrific. The quiver in her voice sent chills down my body. Her silence speaks volume. It is easily the best performance of her career. Pavail Gulati's turn from a decent man to a man who stands by his Right To Slap His Wife (once only) is something to watch. He is exceptionally effortless to say the least. Other supporting actors are well cast and fit into the roles they play of mother-in-law, neighbour, maid and maid's husband. Tappad makes you question everything happening around us. Its a crucial film which tells that dreams have no gender and women also have rights to dignity and happy life. No one, I mean no one, should slap his wife and expect her to accept it and continue like nothing happened. This movie is a must for our society.

Just saw Panga. It is a delightfully emotional and yet an inspirational movie. It had me in tears when I compared the sacrifices my mother had made for our family and me. The family bond is so delicately displayed and the characters are so identifiable with normal middle-class families of today. Every actor is fantastic. Kangana Ranaut plays the role of a mother and a Kabaddi player with an effortless ease. I wonder why Richa Chaddha is so underrated. She is pretty good. Jassie Gill is effortless as a caring father and supportive husband. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is one of the best Directors in Bollywood, and Panga is her best film till date. Just saw it with my friends and I am planning to watch it again with my parents. My parents don't usually watch a movie, but I hope I am able to convince them this time.
