I was pretty offended to hear the term โwhite folksโ on a national Canadian television show. Also, being told what I can or canโt do within the restrictions of my status as โwhite folkโ which excludes anything from any other cultures. Weird to hear this in a multi cultural society like Canada. Wishing we could learn from the past and encourage all people to do what makes them happy.
