While the pacing and editing is flawed, almost everything else works. It tells a heartbreaking and emotional story, the characters are all pretty likable and interesting, the action is very good, and the acting is great, especially Denzel Washington's performance as Creasy. Don't let the negative reviews scare you away, this is worth watching

This is the only Pixar movie that I would say is bad. While the animation is great and the ost is pretty good, the rest of the film leaves a lot to be desired. The story is absurd, many characters are stupid, and the film is a bit too violent for a G rated film. Not much else to say other than I don’t recommend this movie

Despite having great potential, I personally found The Creator mediocre. It has a lot of great stuff that gets held back by a dull screenplay. The setting is really cool, being set in a future where AI is part of society. The cinematography and special effects were breathtaking. The story and characters are the main things that holds this film back from being good. Other than Alphie, I found all of the characters boring and generic. Joshua wasn't a bad main character but I feel he was very generic and I didn't really care about him enough to feel for him. The story was pretty dull until the end. I feel that the story was nothing more than a generic and boring Sci-Fi story set in the future with AI. The third act was a little enjoyable but it doesn't save the film from being dull. I think what could've improved the film is the world building and the relationship between Joshua and Alphie because I feel both were lacking. Overall, I don't hate this film but I don't like it at the same time. I would say if you liked Rogue One, I think you'll enjoy this film more than I did. That being said, I wouldn't personally recommend this movie
