For me this game is nowhere’s near how bad people have said it is, but it’s not perfect. From a story point, it’s the first 1/3rd of the game it feels like it doesn’t know where it wants to go, once you make it to the 3rd camp that’s where things ramp up and get good from a story perspective, but the game has great combat mechanics, the bike handling feels good, the other 4 things I would say could have used some work is the 1. skill system, you can go through the game, never use it(besides like 3 skills) and you really won’t notice a difference, deacon doesn’t feel stronger in any sense, 2. Just the world could have used a little more work, in crowds in cutscenes you see the same npcs, similar dialogue, the same 12 different cars, trucks with different paint in the world. 3.
The load times were a kinda long compared to other AAA games released this year, this will lead to the last point. 4. And this is this the worst, the game has bad texture problems, even after a 45 second load time, there was about 20 different times when something was loading up, gameplay or cutscene, that textures wouldn’t load correctly and would just look very blocky, It personally doesn’t bother me, but for some it does and some it doesn’t!
Look this game isn’t perfect, but if you’re looking to kill a bunch of zombie type enemies, resource management, and eventually after a little be involved in an enticing story, where graphics don’t bother you, than this is the game for you!
