My attention was captured from the cover and it was a black author so I went for it. The book starts slow but interesting and it then turns into an R Kelly-type story. Seen it. Watched It. Heard it. I lost interest after she was pining over him and it did not keep me intrigued. I will try out her other books to see if it is a page-turner.
