What an example of media manipulation of public opinion and mistreatment of Palestinians. The series originally is spoken in Hebrew and Arabic, but the network and media are dubbing the Hebrew into English and leaving Arabic as is. ( there is also an option to go back to the original languages of the series with English titles). Dubbing only one language vs the other, is perceived as an attempt to establish a sense of closeness of Israeli’s to Western countries while keeping the Palestinians as foreigners. If these networks want to be fair and respect human rights, they would’ve stayed away from dubbing and kept the original languages and provided subtitles. I hope the viewers have more intelligence than what the networks assumed. I also hope the viewers see beyond the action packed series and recognize the oppression and deplorable conditions forced upon the Palestinians.
