Genam Salem

One the best films I’ve ever seen. It accurately recounts the 1948 Nakba (Catastrophe) that the Palestinian people endured and still endure till today. This film tells the story of what really happened during that 1948 Nakba. Israel has suppressed this for so long and finally the world can see how Israel was formed and how they displaced approximately a million Palestinians to create their apartheid nation. Many accolades to Netflix for holding firm and not giving in to the enormous pressure imposed on them to not allow this film to stream. You must watch this film but make sure you have plenty of tissues on hand. I cried for most of the film. This film is epic in that it finally tells the Palestinian side accurately and allows the world to finally truly understand what Israel did and continues to do today.
