Every now and again the right amount of thought, feeling, honest emotion finds the right direction guiding such talented actors to give us a special performance to reflect on and remember for a long time. There are many layers to this film, so powerfully presented on just one movie set. For me this film challenges the idea that for some love is unconditional. The Whale reminded me that love is just as if not more importantly individual. I’m adding it to my favourite film collection.
