Ephraim Savitt

This movie is a well acted and well written film. It is also a clever comedy up to a point, adter which it isn't funny at all. The principal flaw in this movie is that it loses its direction in the latter part in trying to portray the inner theological struggles of a Jewish convert to Christianity without any real clarity. The film also fails to explain the lure of one religion over another for someone who is plainly a committed secularist. So, 2 stars for effort and superb acting by the main characters.
