This game is decent. However, I've played only a bit of GT5 and didn't play GT6 or GT Sport. From that perspective, the game is really good. However, as many have mentioned, the microtransactions and lack of content are inexcusable. Polyphony promised us that they're going to fix those issues. To be honest, that's fine, I would've prefer if they did that before the release of the game itself but at least they're adding it regardless. Can't really complain. If you played GT Sport and you're thinking about getting GT7, keep playing GTS. There's no real reason to get GT7, not now at least. When the game gets additional content, then 100% get this game. Underneath all that musk of corporate greed and lazy game design practices, there's still a good game underneath that. Then again, it might be because I've recently become bored with forza horizon's progression, and in my personal opinion, this feels like a more fulfilling "career" mode than forza. They're 2 separate types of racing games though so idk what I'm even going on about.
Graphics are nice, cars are detailed. Sure, forza looks better, but cars got more personality in this game if that makes sense.
Verdict: Wait for a sale (Something I should've done instead of buying a physical deluxe edition on day 1), or just wait until more content gets added. Gran Turismo Sport is $50 cheaper, and you get basically the same experience just without the career layout. I would recommend that if you want just need a Gran Turismo experience that isn't overpriced.
