Utterly boring, nothing new about Gordievsky, I see no reason for this book. Perhaps because Michael Foot is dead and unable to sue? He conceals that aspect of the story completely. No doubt the anecdote about borrowing the char's hat to disguise as a tramp circulated MI6 like coronavirus in a Durham hospial children's ward.
