Apparently if you like this show you're 'dumb.' Erm...no. 'its just building up back story and it's just a teen drama as a result.' Seriously, this is where we're at now? It's season one of a brand new show, of course they're going to develop back story. Ok, I'll concede, the zombies are naff, but that's no different to any other live action zombie show/movie. Breaking Bad started off incredibly slow and look what happened there...not that I think RE has started off slow, quite the opposite Personally, I think this is people complaining because 'omg it's not what I thought it was going to be so I can't or shouldn't like it on its own merit.' Yes, I was disappointed after I watched the first episode. I wanted it to be dark and gritty. But thought 'lets stick with it and see where it goes' and I'm so glad I did. Of course, there's some people who don't like it because it's not to their taste which is absolutely fine, can't please everyone. But to all those who just can't get over the fact that it's not exactly what you expected you all need to grow up - and yes, I'm including those who've deemed the show a woke-fest (you don't know what the word means) because *shudder* there happens to be two women, that you barely see together, who are married to each other. If that boils your blood so much that you deem it a woke-fest then it really is a you problem
