#jersey movie review (4.5/5) Gautam may have chosen very different subjects for his first two movies, but in both he showcased his forte in capturing pain. He will be talked about a lot in future. Nani has a knack of pulling off even ordinary scenes. As there is no ordinary scene in this movie, he comes up with his best performance so far. Unlike his most characters here he played subtle role for major part of the movie. He makes one empathise in his pursuit of success, despite age going against him. Satyaraj played another role to savour. Shradha and Ronit have meaty roles. Viswant did justice to his role. Anirudh's music is in perfect sync with the movie. Sanu Varghese made some scenes more beautiful with his cinematography. First half revolves around how difficult an unemployed father finds to fulfill his son's birthday wish of wearing jersey. Some scenes in second half are knitted in such a way that one will appreciate it better watching them second time. Overall the movie has all ingredients to be called classic.
