As a fan of the books and films, this held up really well for me and I think it may be the closest the book has been to making it in tact to the big screen. Epic movie without dumbing down the content and filmed in a massive scale. Fans will love it and those new to the story will hopefully marvel at the wonders therein. Highly recommended.
