This is a good game, and more importantly, a decent AC game. I see it as somewhat of an in-between of the newer RPG titles, and games such as Syndicate and Unity. The graphics (as expected) are great, however what impressed me more was the return to a more linear (and as such better crafted) story, with both the actual narrative, and the way in which the player progresses it being an improvement on the last three entries. The smaller setting of Baghdad does not disappoint, harkening back to the good old days of dense, rich cityscapes.
I do wish some aspects of Unity's crowd systems were implemented. As well as a bit more diversity in the animations (such as in Unity), both for stealth and open combat- although the animations you get are smooth, and pretty cool.
Overall this is a well crafted game, painfully close to perfecting what Unity/Syndicate tried to do, although ultimately I feel many older pre-RPG features (parkour, combat animation chaining, and diversity of said animations) being neglected.
