First have to say, I hate wizard of Oz movie. It’s creepy so was nit looking forward to spending over 2 hours watched wicked. Started off a bit off rocky but took off from there and was fabulous. The story and characters grab your attention And that’s it. Thought senes in emerald city were too much & carnival feel. The 2 lead actresses were out of this world good. Now, they both have Talent . Interesting, funny, sad & definitely a reminder of what cruel words can do!

Movie was good but not realistic. Do you really believe anyone who lived in the Warsaw ghetto under horrific German Nazi’s would not be thin as a rail, filthy from head to toe, be infested with lice and have matted hair & beard. Brody shows no signs of these until later when he leaves an apt where he sleeps & eats all day? while his benefactors are murdered. Yet He alone is able to survive?! Think not
