Worth every minute for Timothy Spalls performance

I love film and usually agree with the critics, but that was a complete waste of 2 hours. It was slow, shallow, absolutely no depth to the characters. Pointless, don't waste your time.

This film is absolutely brilliant and works on so many levels. A must see if you love film making.

Like others say the film deserves a better rating. Yes it becomes sentimental, but in today's harshness it is better for it and reminds us what it is to be human. In fact in a world where unfeeling corporations may well wish to replace troublesome human workers with machines, it is a very timely film. It's also a great romance!

You must see this especially if you ever thought Woodstock was the most important event of the late 60's. It wasn't, this was.

Wow. What a film. At least three Oscar performances. You need to really watch and appreciate the acting. This Matt Damon at his most mature and rich.
