To me a slow burn that never catches fire. The acting was great. I just couldn’t really get a plot. It seemed more like an expression of a common theme in everyday life. Make poor decisions and life is hard. Over half of us have lived that life on a smaller scale. And at the end there’s no resolution. Just back to where we were at the beginning. I’m sure there’s some symbolic meaning in the horse, the only thing she really had that was hers or the remnants of her old life kinda thing. It was billed as a psychological thriller but I think a more apt description would be life. As someone who is not a big movie watcher it wasn’t my cup of tea.
