If you came here for a "Halo" show, this is extremely far from anything Halo and only feels Halo in name. I understand it's non-canon, but that cascades into a myriad of other issues. It doesn't feel, or sound like Halo. Most of the times the show is focused on all of this minor drama going on, instead of the greater threat. It feels more like a drama, than a military scifi. The storytelling is rushed and messy, and the narrative is poor. There's also gratuitous nudity for no reason at all. Lots of scenes and cgi that don't add anything or further the plot. Even looking at the show from a non-halo perspective, it just seems poor. I fail to see how any of the changes made to the series lore has improved upon what came before. If you've played any of the old games and loved the halo story from before, you're probably going to be disappointed in this show. This show wasn't made for the fans, but rather the "broader audience".
