Peak/10 James Gunn never fails to make a better than amazing superhero movie. This IS Superman. Not knocking Henry Cavill but this blew him out of the water. The fight scenes were amazing, the score and visuals were fantastic. Despite the plot being basically all about lex luthor being a humongous ass hater, it was an amazing movie that flowed so smoothly and beautifully. Nathan Fillion was amazing as always. The twists were amazing. The ending was more than just satisfying. The focus on how human superman really is just made it all that more beautiful, rather than focusing on him being a godly alien. The DCU future looks bright. Forgot to mention but Lex Luthor was absolutely peak 11/10. Even my mother who said she went into the movie not expecting to like it said she was amazed by it and thinks it changed her mind. Definitely a must see

This movie was something I was so excited to see, but it was definitely not what I expected I was going to see on screen. The addition of songs in some places were just unneeded. Some of the songs were interesting and would've been fine but the last thing I wanted to see at a critical and serious point in the movie was a music number. Still, if you take that away you've got an incredible movie. The music numbers weigh this movie down. Like I said, if you took them away you'd have an absolutely amazing movie. Nonetheless this was a wonderful movie and has one of the most jaw dropping ending scenes ive watched in a while
