I just don’t understand how people still make tv shows like this one, there’s so much psychological abuse to the main character that I can’t understand. The mother is a blackmailer, she literally forces Zeynep to marry Mehdi by blackmailing her about how miserable she feels because she doesn’t want Zeynep to leave the country. Zeynep would’ve had a wonderful life, full of opportunities, but her mother ruined it. The only character I liked was the adoptive mother. She really wanted the best for her daughter. They portray Mehdi as a hero, but it’s obvious that he’s an aggressive man, whenever he’s furious he wants to fight or he troughs things to the floor, that’s a big red flag, and they portray that as ‘manliness’. I believe that if this tv show was American it would be SO cancelled by everybody…
