Redback

As a Star Wars fan I can say that this movie is a damn good conclusion to the Skywalker saga. While it has it's issues here and there they do not come close to dragging down the movie. If you're a Star Wars fan I highly recommend picking up a ticket.

Don't listen to the reviews. This movie is an impressive continuation of the story that was established in 2015's The Force Awakens that takes the new and old characters down new and surprising routes. No these new ideas do not ruin the characters but instead develop them by putting them in situations where they must learn and accept responsibility.

After almost 10 years after the end of the prequels Disney was (surprisingly) able to reinvigorate the franchise for the new and old generation. The Force Awakens uses recognizable features of the old films but also brings in enough new things for this film to not feel like a carbon copy of the old.

Revenge of the Sith in MY opinion is the only good prequel film. It seems that George Lucas finally learned how to make a good film because this film certainly excels when it comes to how surprisingly dark it is especially for a Star Wars film. With only one good prequel film i'm glad it was the one that was meant to lead on into the original trilogy.

This movie is a classic and there's not much to say beyond that. Despite its release a little over 40 years from now it holds up incredibly well, from the acting, to the cinematography and the unforgettable soundtrack this film is a must watch. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars are the special edition changes, which while some hold up they can make the film seem a little messy.

These movie is an improvement on its lackluster predecessor with its gigantic action scenes and battles however it still fails on the story telling side of things. Not even Anakin has any development in this film which is a problem because these films are supposed to showcase his transition to becoming Darth Vader. I do still recommend giving this film a and formulating your own opinion but in comparison with the majority of the franchise it is disappointing.

This is not a very good movie and that is a real shame.
