the “LockyDocky” Marcheski

[OBVIOUS SPOILER WARNING] Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a solid marvel film. If I had the option to give it 3.5 stars, I’d probably do that instead of 4 stars. I really liked the horror aspect of the film, and I hope Marvel does more horror-like films. The score of the film was absolutely amazing, and the guitar riffs while the Scarlet Witch is dreamwalking is amazing, hats off to Danny Elfman. The film had beautiful visuals. The second post-credit scene was a funny troll for anyone in the theaters. I think there was a great mix between multiverse and madness. Some things I didn’t like about the movie was how the cameos were handled in the movie. The cameos were great, I especially liked Reed Richards, Professor X and Captain Carter. I didn’t like that they were really only in the movie to be killed by Wanda 5 minutes later. I wish they had more of a role in the plot of the film. I also didn’t like what they did with Wanda in the final act of the film. She supposedly committed suicide, although I don’t believe that (if you don't see a character die on-screen in a marvel movie, they’re probably not dead). They kind of did her character dirty, making once was a hero a mentally unstable villain killing anyone who gets in her way. Some of the humor was a little corny, but that’s pretty standard for a Marvel film. My last complaint was that the first post credits scene was a little hard to follow, but there’s a bunch of breakdown stuff online that can explain that. Overall, I’ll give it 3.5 stars (about a 7/10).

Episode 1: A slow start, but it could set up a bigger story. A bit slow paced and could’ve been better. Episode 2: A better episode, although the flashbacks became a bit excessive and there could have been more concentration on the main story. *Black Krrsantan is back too!* Episode 3: Didn’t like it too much. I do have to complain about the speeder-bike chase scene, which was abysmal and horrible. But I like how they set up the rancor for later in the series. Episode 4: I enjoyed this episode more, and found the flashbacks actually somewhat interesting. I like how we saw the return of Boba’s ship and many nods to Din Djarin, especially with the teaser at the end. Episode 5: PURE AMAZINGNESS! I loved this episode so freaking much. The return of the Mandalorian was what we needed. We got flashbacks of the prequel saga and had glimpses of the Great Purge of Mandalore. It is disappointing that the best episode didn’t have Boba in it, but this episode was so good! Overall, I’ll give the series a 3/5. Some episodes bad, some episodes good, and one so far is gold! Hopefully the final 2 don’t disappoint!

I recently watched this movie. I gotta say, I was stunned by the visual effects. I enjoyed the characters, with some of my favorites being Sprite and Ikaris! The movie felt a little stretched out however. Personally for me, I liked the film, and it was pretty decent. (Spoilers from here on) I also enjoyed how actual mythological characters (such as Athena or Icarus) were based off of the Eternals. The post credit scenes are awesome as well, introducing Thanos’s brother! The second post credit scene also included the actor for Blade, which is coming next year! Overall, 4/5 stars. I liked the film, and the post credit scenes were just awesome.

The Loki tv show was a wild and glorious ride! It has changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever, and left me even more hyped for future Marvel projects! The show starts off a bit slow, but there are pretty wild action scenes! Every single episode will leave you thinking. The soundtrack of the film, composed by Natalie Holt, is one of the highlights of the show! The casting as well was quite marvelous. I wish the show didn’t start off as slow as it did, but other than that, I was left pretty happy with the release of Loki! Out of the three tv shows released so far (WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki), this show is my favorite. 4/5 stars.
