[OBVIOUS SPOILER WARNING]
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a solid marvel film. If I had the option to give it 3.5 stars, I’d probably do that instead of 4 stars. I really liked the horror aspect of the film, and I hope Marvel does more horror-like films. The score of the film was absolutely amazing, and the guitar riffs while the Scarlet Witch is dreamwalking is amazing, hats off to Danny Elfman. The film had beautiful visuals. The second post-credit scene was a funny troll for anyone in the theaters. I think there was a great mix between multiverse and madness.
Some things I didn’t like about the movie was how the cameos were handled in the movie. The cameos were great, I especially liked Reed Richards, Professor X and Captain Carter. I didn’t like that they were really only in the movie to be killed by Wanda 5 minutes later. I wish they had more of a role in the plot of the film. I also didn’t like what they did with Wanda in the final act of the film. She supposedly committed suicide, although I don’t believe that (if you don't see a character die on-screen in a marvel movie, they’re probably not dead). They kind of did her character dirty, making once was a hero a mentally unstable villain killing anyone who gets in her way. Some of the humor was a little corny, but that’s pretty standard for a Marvel film. My last complaint was that the first post credits scene was a little hard to follow, but there’s a bunch of breakdown stuff online that can explain that. Overall, I’ll give it 3.5 stars (about a 7/10).
