Not a real exciting movie but a good watch. Kostner reigns it in to a consistent rythm for a performance that should be appreciated. Fun to watch just for that. Harrelson is consistent as well. The period sets, art direction, location and costumes were flawless. Felt like I was there.
The tone was based on patience, experience and persistence which is what drove it, never retreating to any Hollywood gimmicks to make it more exciting. George Clooney in “The mechanic” and Robert Redford in “All is Lost” come to mind. Meditative and thought provoking. Lingered in my mind for a couple days. Recommended
