Some of the reviews are so negative and I feel the show is a breath of fresh air. The set and the outdoors scenes give the show a great atmosphere i like the isolation feel of it supposedly being in deepest alaska but it could be filmed somewhere similar.??.. I agree with one reviewer saying she sees lots of horror ghost rubbish nowadays but how this isn't rubbish . The character who can see ghosts yes it's sixth sense similar, but it isn't the same character and is a different persons experience of this phenomena. The massive science company experiments gone wrong is like stranger things (but better) and the mist movie too but the mist was good whereas stranger things in my opinion was hyped up the best thing about it being it's 80s soundtrack... anyway ghost wars is cool and it's a different story to any mentioned.. Each character in this show is unique , interesting and belivable and I don't think the acting is bad like one reviewer said. It's about a haunted town and from the start your hooked.. It all depends on your tastes right.. I like the original evil dead movies and the new series of ash vs evil dead.American horror was mostly good.. I like day,dawn and night of the living dead. Hell raiser 1 and 2 .. that's mentioning a few so if you are of similar taste in horror to myself you might enjoy this series.. I hope this helps someone

The critics are harsh about this movie to the point it feels like some politically correct police agenda and protection of corporate psychopathic agendas..the movie makes you think and obviously those in power don't want this..This movie does rev up quickly.. this movie's great. I don't see it as racist at all (something the critics were focused on) and anyway the far east just like most places has its very bad eggs. It makes sense that because of corporate greed something to this level could occur. It's a shame people go against people instead of the corporate scum psychopaths who cause these types of problems.. I think it's a relevant story needing to be told. Owen Wilson is a great comedy actor and he's great in this thriller too.. very scary situation...
