With all due respect to the time and effort put in by the actors and producers, I rate this movie at 1 star. With all the intrigue of Germany/Japan in World War II, the evolution of physics and figuring out splitting atoms and things of that nature were not properly addressed. Hitler died, they could’ve shown something w/him which adds intrigue, could’ve shown the devastating consequences of employing these devices. No Enola Gay, no destruction, a couple explosions? Could’ve popped a Nazi in there for intrigue, they didn’t show one Japanese reference to Pearl Harbor. Maybe why Oppenheimer might be motivated to find a justification for dropping THE bomb on Japan. I do feel bad for the guy for getting railroaded by the government, but who wants to see him get railroaded, we wanna see the explosions, the consequences, and the moral dilemmas played out. Not a bunch of Washington suits screaming at other in a ego contest. Again, no disrespect intended. That’s my honest assessment. I hope others feel differently.
