It is a bit cheesy and predictable, but I would say it is an entertaining film. Nothing too groundbreaking but just a little treat for the fans of the killer thrillers. Actors were okay, believable. Story was not anything worth remembering and neither was the killer, just creepy.

The confinement of this movie is what makes it so uncomfortable, staying in the morgue the whole movie is justifying the sons want to eventually leave and not follow the family business. It seems hopeless, especially the supernatural powers of the Jane Doe corpse warping reality to make it impossible to leave and punishing anything that tries to enter its new domain. Maybe some of the scares are not perfect and maybe cheesy, but this was a fresh idea. Very new and unlike anything I have really seen. The gore is.. well classy really. It isnt over the top but it still feels uncomfortable and only makes me sympathize with the sons disatisfaction with the career but interested with the fathers desensitized emotions for it. Very solid "horror" (i would really classify it as a suspenseful mystery but there are scary parts).

Not a terrible movie by any means. The acting is actually pretty good. The premise is a solid message. However, I just do not find anything worth taking home. Yeah we get it, America is so fixated on tech. True, but I am more interested on the ideas of racism and the internal implosion because of the fissures of modern American society. I don't really think they touch on that hard enough until the end, and possibly the friction between the homeowners and Roberts somewhere near the beginning. Personally, I did not enjoy the ending because of its open ending. Entertaining, but forgettable.

This comedic entry in the Wright trilogy is crafted so cleverly. The comedic release of some scenes are just brilliant, yet it still pressures the viewer in a dire situation. Theres a lot of emotion in this comedy that I found interesting, very relatable topics especially (though some may find over done) as Shaun looks to finally have his break out and not be a loser. This one personally isnt my favorite of the trilogy but it’s better than Hot Fuzz, a cult classic might I add. I recommend this to people who want a comedy that is thoughtful, clever, and smart.

I enjoyed this movie, for a netflix title it is a very entertaining film. I just found some parts very frustrating. The stunts and acting was great. The first like 30 minutes is actually incredible film making and sets up pretty nicely. The whole twist ending felt stale by the end. Nonetheless id recommend this movie to someone I think just watches movies for fun.

So many quotable lines, so many depth-rich characters, I mean this is literally Tarantino at his finest. One of my favorite movies I think of all time. Such smart story telling not letting any plugs go un-plugged, all the clever dialogue that even a French cheeseburger is tantalizingly entertaining (especially coming from Travolta). Star studded cast, and they produce some of my favorite characters. The movie being long is such a service to the fans who want to enjoy this again and again. Growing up, you were bound to see some sort of pulp fiction merchandise everywhere. If you haven’t seen this yet, what are you doing?

Ughhh! I felt physically sick during this movie. The thrill in this is sweet like candy but the twist is oh so bitter. Incredible set-up. The characters blend well, the music fits, and the story is mysterious. Really keeps you on your toes. I’ve never thought of picturing Tatum in this light, but I got to give it to him, he played this character well! I recommend this movie highly.

Sure okay, it’s not a great movie, but I think it does its job. It sure takes a long time to get there, but it eventually does. I love this idea of the test on morality and greed, and I think the suspense of the situation is really believable. Diaz did great I think, I believed everything she gave really. I’m confused from the lower rankings, I actually enjoyed the movie for the most part. Very twilight zone-ish, maybe even too much.

After I watched this movie, i literally could not get some of the scenes out of my head. This movie is a contemporary phenom that drives these really interesting feminist ideas. I really feel for the bots, and no honestly I don’t think I ever really liked our protagonist. The music is so well composed, this ambience is transcending and freeing yet it contrasts with ideas of confinement and control. Really well done, I was speechless after finishing this movie. Loved Gleeson’s performance in this.

Legit one of the craziest takes on this sort-of freaky Friday theme. Partially confusing at times with the personalities but man, does that twist throw you in a garbage bin and spit on you! I couldn’t count how many times I grabbed the side of my head and yelled “WHAT!” Not what I was expecting from a random Netflix original. Stand out performances from the entire cast, everyone was so different, had substance and range. Could be the life of the party in the beginning but someone I genuinely hate in the end. A movie that kept me and the guys talking for days.
