Most of the one-star comments talk about how it was boring or had lazy writing. I disagree, while the pace isn't for some people, if you can get past that, it's a masterpiece. Often, people haven't watched far enough into the show to understand major plot points. Also, Hunter x Hunter did inspire Naruto. People who say Naruto was first haven't done any research and watched the 2011 version instead of the 1999 version. Another common complaint is that Gon is a boring protagonist, and is repetitive. My reply to that is: Have you seen the full Chimera Ant Arc? You'll change your opinion.(Don't take my word for it though) I get it if it's not for you, but please don't rate it one star and say it's trash. It's really good.
