This film falls short in comparison to its predecessors. It lacks character development and fails to present substantial challenges for the dragon warrior. The villain's abilities are poorly constructed, and there's a noticeable absence of Oogway and his insightful wisdom. The Furious Five have minimal screen time, and Zhen's relationship with the panda feels forced due to their limited interaction.
The ease with which the villains are defeated, especially considering the chameleon's absorption of all the great masters' powers, feels extremely unnatural. Overall, the film's shortcomings in character development, plot hurdles, and the construction of the antagonist's abilities make it a disappointing installment in the series.
