Read any of the literary reviews, they are spot on. This book has some beautiful imagery, but is really lacking on plot. I kept waiting for the big mystery to unfold, but it never did. At times, it was a chore to get through; the reader is encouraged by the promise of fulfillment which sadly never happens.
