"Adipurush" was an absolute disappointment. I had been eagerly anticipating this film, hoping for a grand cinematic experience that would bring the epic tale to life. Instead, what I got was a haphazardly put together mess that failed to capture the essence of the original story. The casting choices were questionable at best. Prabhas as Lord Rama felt like a poor fit, lacking the gravitas and depth required for such an iconic character. And don't get me started on Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. His portrayal was more comical than menacing, turning one of the greatest villains in Indian mythology into a caricature. The screenplay was a disaster, jumping from one poorly connected scene to another without any coherent flow. The dialogues were cringe-worthy, often sounding like they were pulled from a B-grade action flick rather than an epic mythological drama. The special effects were another major letdown. With the advancements in technology, I expected to see breathtaking visuals that would transport me to the ancient world of Ramayana. Instead, what I got were subpar CGI effects that were more distracting than immersive. Even the music, which could have been a saving grace, failed to leave an impact. The songs felt forced and out of place, adding to the overall disjointed feel of the film. It's disappointing to see such a beloved and culturally significant story treated with such disregard. "Adipurush" had the potential to be a cinematic masterpiece, but it ended up being a forgettable and cringe-inducing experience. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money on this film.
