I believe this may be the worst film I have ever endured. I'm not one to shy away from sex and violence, being a huge Game of Thrones fan back in the day, but apart from some cool cinematography and effects, this movie had an appallingly dull plot, awkward dialogue, ridiculous characters (was that Gollum 2.0 I saw?) and a seemingly endless parade of cliches. Vain attempts to inspire the viewer with feelings of revenge and freedom feel jarring and forced and reek of film-lore past.
Aside from the divine Eva Green and her admirable wardrobe of sultry, long black dresses, there was nothing enjoyable about watching this film.
Watch it with the sound down and make up your own script if you want a laugh... the one they wrote isn't worth listening to.
