This book is so incredibly amazing. I found it hilarious but yet so excruciatingly painful and sad, and if I had been someone who wasn't incredibly dark, gruesome and sad, I surely would've cried. I find most of these reviews to be absolute rubbish! Saying things like "Teenagers aren't like this" and "No teenager would be like this!", in all honesty, do you think you know every teenager? Truth being, no one is alike, our brains are different, our DNA, our personalities, we are different people and therefore some would do this. Besides, a side affect of dying is personality change, you start doing things that make sense to you but to others who are not in your same state find preposterous. So, if you don't like this book then that's fine, but if everyone is different not everyone will think the same thing. I believe in my honest opinion that this book is worth reading, at least a try, no one can blame you if you do not try and if they do blame you then don't listen because they are wrong. I put this plain and simple and showed the problem as black and white, though this is not the case, this is rather complicated but I wish you at least try. Therefore, I rest my case. This book was a lovely read and only took me maybe about twelve hours to read with a few breaks, it was worth the time and has earned a pride shelf in my house and a pride spot in my heart.
Also, I'm a teenager under 16 and understood the book completely. I sometimes even do this kind of stuff. The kind of conversations in the book are like the conversations I have with myself.
