This film is based on the original Alfred Hitchkok novel "Dial M for Murder " 1954. Later on after The egyptian movie Khotat Al Shaytan in 1988 was made , a remake was done by hollywood in 1998 under the name A Perfect Murder starring Michael Douglas.
