So, I usually don't write reviews, but I really enjoyed watching this movie! Let me start off by saying that I have not read the manga (yet), so I won't be talking about how -inaccurate- or -accurate- the anime is to its source material. (spoilers may be included, so read at your own risk!) Plot: 10/10 from my side! An amazing story idea executed in the best way possible! So there is a boy (Shoya Ishida) who always bullied a deaf girl (Shouko Nishimiya) along with a bunch of his "friends" (Kawai, Ueno and the others). Then things happen (which I don't wanna spoil). He looks for redemption and the plot is just- *chef's kiss*! Characters: 9/10! I loved the main characters very much! Yuzuru (Shouko's sister) was the best! Shoya and Shouku are also very likeable! I just thought Sahara could have been given a little more story as she just seemed lacking (to me). Art: 11/10 just beautiful! I kinda think the anime's art style is very underrated as it was very pretty! The animation was also very good! Sound: 6/10 eh, there was not much music, to begin with so- Pacing: 10/10 Perfect! The way they took us back to their school times in the beginning and transitioned into when they were in their later school years was amazing! Overall: 10/10! A great anime movie!
