If you are a fan of the book, maybe just skip the movie. While elements of the book are present, the movie doesn't seem to capture the spirit. The gore is good and the design for Sawtooth Jack is interesting, but the messy acting, aimless direction, and poorly adapted screenplay makes this quite a bit of a letdown.
