The show deviates so heavily from the source material that it can not be considered Halo. The show takes names and visual concepts from the games and books, but otherwise it is a completely different IP. The writers, directors, and producers should be ashamed to fail this poorly at an adaptation. We’re this a Sci-Fi tv show with any other name I think I could find myself mildly engaged and offer it a 3 star review. However, because they are adamant about it being related to the Halo games and books, I am forced to give to this insulting piece of media a 1 star rating.

They released a beta of a AAA game and marketed it as if it were a complete game. Instead of being adults about it and stating that they still did not have a complete game they lied and have been silent. 343 Industries and Microsoft are money-hungry corporate thieves with no desire or passion for creating legitimately artistic and compelling games. The multiplayer, while "free to play" is a joke that does not live up to the expectations of any of the previous games. It is supposedly a "Live Service" game, and yet it has no road map nor has it received an actual content update since its release 5 months ago. Single-A game developers are more active and communicative than the flagship studio for the Xbox Series X. The singleplayer is a hodge-podge storyline attempting to recreate the majesty, curiosity, and newness of halo combat evolved. Instead, it feels like what a video game baby between Middle Earth: Shadow of War and Far Cry would be like. The storyline and the map itself do not know what they are attempting to do. Supposedly this will be a 10-year live service game, and yet after 5 months, customers still do not have a road map for the game and do not know what to expect from this game.
