If you’ve ever wondered, “how did this happen in the US?” read this book. Things don’t just happen. There’s always some person or group causing the change, and many are unknown and unseen. MacLean didn’t set out to find the cause. She, as a historian, was looking for something else. What she found answers a lot of questions and will be a wake up for many. The US is not about WE THE PEOPLE!
