If only, if only I had read allll the reviews. On angies list, google reviews and Yelp. If I could express the level of disgust that j have for this scam, con I would curse like a sailor. They are the worst in customer service, in lies and they do not care about you, your things or your business. I work in a public place with many different backgrounds and have made it an absolute promise to let everyone I encounter know to never ever ever use them. They quoted me 169.00 an hour with a 2 hour minimum and 169.00 for travel time. Read the fine print and see through the lies. The movers themselves were fine, actually had the workers themselves confirm the company they work for is a scam. One mover claimed he was tired of being the scapegoat for their lies and would be looking for alternative employment. A 3 hour move with an hour so 4 hours total was 1100.00. In town move 7 miles from my apartment which was on the third floor, moving things down and out. I packed myself and they disarmed 2 beds and a desk. Moved to a single story house. Arrived at my home to basically tell me I must pay immediately or they could not unload my things, after a good hour of asking to speak to the owner, the pos “manager” said I was SOL and he would take my things and charge me overnight storage until I paid the rape of 1100. I was on the phone for an hour, trying to figure out how an in town move which should have cost 500-700 was 1100. They charged me 14% gas 130.00!!!!! On top of all the other charges, 60.00 for tape and 1 plastic cover. They refused to discount my move. Claimed since I didn’t complain about the movers themselves or them breaking anything that it was my problem, while I’m standing there tears in my eyes he calls the movers in front of me and says get out of there, I’m charging her overnight. I explained to them, I would pay but I wanted answers. I received 0 zero. I have contacted a friend (attorney) for any recourse to recoup my money. I have sat on this for 5 days, I could not hold it any longer. Please please please put this company out of business. Use 2 men and a truck or a different honest mover with Integrity and transparency. Also the salesman Phil is a liar and called me incessantly for 3 days to get me to deposit my 100.00 to hold a spot. Harrassment. Lies. Disgust.
