All these reviews are by bots and are duplicated over and over. I found the film dissapointing probably due to the fact that i was brought up with Bruce Lee and the previous 10 years of quality MCU films.

I'm afraid i can't agree with these positive reviews. Even forgiving the 1978 production value, (although without CGI they did a good job with the locusts), the film has poor dialogue and there is no real flow to the story. I didn't see this film until yesterday so have no nostalgia for it like many of the reviews. The leads are attractive but you don't really find them appealing. A renowned composer, but the sound quality is dreadful. The plot is a little depressing and the ending is confusing and abrupt. I'm afraid it hasn't dated well even for a period drama.

I remember watching this when I was a mid teen. Mickey was so cool. I even started smoking Camels (uurgh) because of this film 🙈 Rourke is brilliant, as is De Niro in his smaller roll and Lisa Bonnet is irresistible. Great film noir feels and twist at the end. Should of got Mickey and Parker an Oscar nomination at the very least

A beautiful film about living your truest life

Brilliant iconic movie. Amazing soundtrack. So many quotable lines. CS at his best. Still as relevant today
