it is a great show but it's also an example of high status white males cruising in to create a sensationalistic depiction and although this draws attention to the plight of inner city racialized youth--nothing changes. Snoopp ending up back in the "game" (real life) is an example. White actors might have been able to launch careers from there. Given this--there's a gratuitousness there. Just one more Hollywood "flavour" and it shouldn't be disguised as anything else.
