It is difficult to understand what those who give low ratings may not like and what else they need. What are they comparing to? There are truly no limits to human greed; apparently, everyone will always want a full-fledged matrix, scolding everything that does not provide a 100% realistic and unlimited experience. The game is wonderful, there is little to compare it to. There is no point in talking about Star Citizen or Elite Dangerous, because these are not full-fledged games, MMO's with an emphasis on multiplayer (although even without this they would not have reached the level). The "X" series, although more similar and with a large number of interesting mechanics, cannot boast of the same freedom of movement and realism, it clearly has a smaller budget, and the genre becomes closer to strategy as the game progresses. Starfield has many parallels with No Man Sky, which is also difficult to compare, because No Man Sky does not have much quests or realism (the game is essentially a cartoon), again the game is very close to the MMO genre, and it was developed for a very long time (until now Since then, the developers continue to finish it). But what it is most similar to is Fallout crossed with the first Mass Effect, where almost all the game mechanics are from, and the atmosphere is from the second. And this greatly benefits the game, as if this is the kind of game from Bethesda that was missing in my life. It’s interesting to explore the world, just as (or more) as it happened to me every time in the Fallout series, you get immersed in the game, you don’t want to leave it, it has interesting quests and generally a lot of things for fans of space games, and at the same time it looks very good and realistic , there was a clear feeling that someone had finally decided to seriously spend money and make a AAA space simulator, because the rest of the projects were very similar to fan works (If you don’t take story games, like Mass Effect, which, despite all its splendor, is not a space simulator, space there is just the setting of the story). So I personally haven’t played anything like this, the game greatly reveals the space sim genre and doesn’t let you tear yourself away, which personally often happens to me with other new games. At the same time, you need to remain a relist and understand the technical capabilities of our time, understand why No Man Sky, having a direct takeoff from the planet, with its generation and a lot of lags, looks like a cartoon, and a game of a scale similar to Starfield and looking like Starfield with something like that is very difficult to make , that's why there are no such games. The developers of Star Citizen shouted a lot, collected astronomical sums, but things are still there, everything turned out to be an ordinary scam. Yes, there are annoying things like taking off from the planet and ground transport, but I didn’t really expect what already exists, and this is just a matter of time and opportunities that develop, and even without this a lot of things have been done, a new universe has been created and it looks great and feels great. Therefore, you 100% need to play this, and if you don’t like it, then I personally don’t know what other space simulator you would call good, saying “Well, this is definitely better than Starfield.” Perhaps the genre itself is not close to you, or you are not aware that the matrix has not yet been invented.
