This book really moved me. The author reveals, through beautiful imagery and phrasing, the many layers of her characters. For me, it is a book about hope and redemption. Although we can't choose our destinies, we can choose how we harness our life circumstances as opportunities to forgive, to thrive, to hope, and above all, to love.
