Just because a movie may make you cry doesn't mean it's good. This proved that. It was really bad, very close to as bad as you can get with a star cast. I wish people who aspired to make movies about trendy themes first knew or found someone who knew a thing or two about the very heavy subject matter. If I had real mental issues like what they were alluding to in this movie, I imagine I'd be very offended by the unrealistic shallow depiction here in 'The Son'. The characters had no depth, as if made up in someone's dream. I wanted 2 hours of my life, I'd recommend you don't.
