First, I want to say that this is bad and not worth watching. They really botched it, but mostly because of the writing and concept. You never know why an actor's work is poor, it could be the direction they are given. I think the actors are trying hard. I don't know why so many reviews are slamming the gender roles and that Judy is brown...who cares? What hurts this show is that they are trying to write story content to get to an end goal, not writing good stories and seeing where it takes them or just trying to complete an arc. What KILLS this show is the bad science and concepts. SPOILER *who makes a colony ship where every family gets their own ship? Were they planning on colonizing multiple worlds (in which case your gene pool gets muddy pretty fast)? One world, one ship people. Who plays cards while there's an emergency evacuation and your ship is making an emergency landing? In episode three (which is as far as I got) they have to clean the sand out of the engine vents because of the previous episode's sandstorm. Engine vents? on a spaceship?*END SPOILERS. Studios dump a ton of money into these shows, you think they'd spend a little cash and have some science people read a script or two. My other big concern is not with the show, but with reviews of the show. There are 9 and 10 star reviews on here that are written by people from the planet Happy. Nothing bothers these people and they just think the show is great and just can't wait for more and gosh they hope there is a season 2! These have to be fake reviews, I'm sorry. And I'm sorry, there will be no season 2.
