I watched the film because I am also an Army Combat Helicopter Pilot and entry of lady pilots into Airforce commenced while I was in service. It’s a true portrayal of a lady pilots life in the initial days and also a true portrayal of an Army Officer father and his broad minded outlook towards his daughter. I have a daughter, may be as old as Jhanvi and it was so nostalgic to recollect my relationship with my daughter while watching the movie. I suppose all Army officers bring up their daughters in similar ways. Movie is true to its core in telling the story in a simple and straightforward manner which is the strong point of the movie.Kudos to Director and the producers of Gunjan Saxena , The Kargil Girl. Jhanvi has done great justice to the role with so much simplicity and excellence.
