I was first introduced to the Souls series with Dark Souls III. D*mn. After 50 hours of pure agony I finally beat it (extra 45 hours to beat dlc) Hands down my favorite game ever. Then Dark Souls I. Just as good, just as hard, another beautiful game. Then came along Dark Souls II. Easier that Kirby Yarn. It relied on re-skins of previous bosses in the series, and gank fights. The difficulty was turned down to effortless and all it relied upon was providing the player with many enemies- no aggression, small health pool, little damage. And on top of all that nonsense, no lore added to the Souls series. Only worth playing if your new to the series, makes the difficulty curve for the other games less tragic for your brain. Any who- Dark Souls II? Two thumbs down.... A gold star in bad games.... A sad emoji....However I do have to give it a bit of credit for not being as bad as Fortnite.
