I don't know how somebody could mess up a horror movie this badly. If you're reading the reviews to see if you should watch it: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. The plot was interesting conceptually, but horrbily executed. The characters were so badly written that I didn't care what happened to them, which completely took away the scare factor. The jump scares were horrible, the special effects were a huge let down, and the big bad wasn't even that scary. I made it 50 minutes into 1 hour and 43 minute film until I decided that no climax could make up for me wasting my time on this movie and I turned it off.

Acting was amazing, and the storyline was fascinating. It wasn't a completely terrifying movie, but it was definitely one of the most interesting and eerie psychological horror films I've seen. The characters were really interesting to watch. I would absolutely recommend this.
