Brian Madderson

The series started slowly for the first two episodes but then the tension was cleverly ramped up by the writer and we were treated to a pulsating denouement. Brilliantly researched and presented with an entirely credible cast, this was an excellent production. My only reservation were the incessant flashbacks. This is a popular drama tool these days but it felt slightly over stretched in the Serpent. My rating was certainly 5 Stars.
