As a first time viewer of the entire film (I'd only seen a few segments in the past), this film was absolutely unbelievable in the IMAX, and a perfect example of what true cinema magic is all about. The great pacing grinds to a halt just over 2 hours in though due to a scene at a French plantation that feels like I would rather have cut. Aside from that the crazy setting mixed with the nutty characters kept me on my toes, and the practical shots and cinematography... wow.

Sea of Solitude could have taken a few more pages from some of the great indie titles of that past few years. The tale it tells of letting go and changing for the better is tough to consume over the handful of hours it takes to finish the game only because it had more to say without giving you more to actually do. A shorter playtime or a couple of extra gameplay mechanics may have done the trick.
